Your Thinking Got You Here

If you don't like it, guess what? You're the only one who can change it.

Hello Wealth Tablers!

As followers of The Wealth Table, you know Kimberly and I (Kathryn) focus on transformation and elevation of your wealth. Today, we talk about one of my favorite topics - how your thoughts create your reality.

Remember a time when everything seemed to go wrong. Didn’t it just get worse and worse? The initial obstacle became a mountain and at one point, you may have given up or given in.

There’s another way.

Three steps to change your thinking

Kimberly explains three steps to take when you are caught in a negative spiral of thoughts:

  1. Identify the narrative - you have to step outside your thinking to realize what you are thinking. Humans are the only species who can observe themselves.

  2. Shift or reframe it - are you afraid of the future or agonizing about the past? Either place is the prime breeding ground for negative thinking. When you have identified the pattern you want to change, ask yourself, “Is there a different perspective?”

  3. Declare what is true - Instead of projecting into the future about something that hasn’t happened, ask yourself, “What is true for me in this moment?”

Cultivating the skill of changing your thinking impacts so many levels of your life. From your relationships to how you show up to your career or job, maintaining a positive perspective and willingness to see beyond the physical creates happiness.
