What Most Women Entrepreneurs Overlook - And Why It's Costing Them

Inner work + practical strategy = true wealth

Hello Wealth Tablers!

Welcome to The Wealth Table, where mindfulness and action lead you to being wealthy.

Today, we talk about what’s really holding women entrepreneurs back—and what to do about it.

You might be doing incredible work in the world—coaching, healing, teaching—but still feel stuck. Why?

Because the inner work and the business strategy are inseparable. Until you focus on your inner reality and then strategize and execute, you will not feel successful.

1. Passion Isn’t Enough

“I love what I do… I just don’t like the business part.”

Kimberly and I (Kathryn) hear this all the time. But the truth?

You still have to show up. That means:

  • Posting on social media (even if it feels awkward)

  • Tracking income and ROI

  • Learning the “business of your business”

No one else will market your gifts for you. Own your role as a CEO—even if you’re a one-woman show.

“You don’t have to like it. You just have to do it.”
—Kimberly Y. Evans

2. Your Shadows Are Shaping Your Results

Kathryn brought the fire with a truth bomb:

“Shadows are emotional reactions to painful experiences. And they run the show—until you bring them to light.”

That belief that you’re not worthy of success? It didn’t come out of nowhere.

If money was tight growing up, if success brought judgment, if visibility felt unsafe… it’s still living in you now.

Once you name it and see it for what it is - fear, you can release it. As you create space where the fear kept you small, you can choose again.

3. You Need Both: Healing & Hustle

Some entrepreneurs do the inner work but avoid execution. Others take action without unpacking the hidden beliefs sabotaging them.

You need both.

You’re not meant to do it all alone. Every success story has a support team. Including yours. That’s why Kimberly and I share our knowledge - so you know that we are here for you.

“No one gets to the top by themselves. Every Oprah has a team.”
—Kimberly

4. The 95% Rule

Kimberly recommends The Entrepreneur Roller Coaster by Darren Hardy, where he writes:

“Work is going to suck 95% of the time. That other 5%? Freaking amazing.”

The admin, the content, the consistency—it’s all part of your path.

That 5% moment? When a client says you changed their life.
That’s why you do this.

So here’s the truth: You’re not broken. You’re becoming.

The Wealth Table exists to support you with:

  • The mindset tools to clear the blocks

  • The strategy to grow your business

  • The reminder that you’re not alone

Let’s keep growing—together.

→ Please comment and share where you feel stuck. We are here to help you see your own amazing way of serving others, so we can create a better world.
